  • Streams generally in fair condition
  • Physical/chemical indicator scores lower than in previous years
  • While no data were available for the nutrient cycling indicator in autumn, spring results for this indicator were poor, as per last year

  • Fair water quality throughout most of the zone with generally poorer water quality found in the northern reaches
  • Phytoplankton abundance has increased in the southern reaches compared to 2006
  • Intact and stable natural habitats throughout with extensive mangrove forests and stable seagrass meadows
