Freshwater results
F Redlands Catchment  
  • Streams generally in very poor condition
  • Declines in all indicators since last year
  • Results for nutrient cycling, aquatic macroinvertebrate and fish indicators were the worst for several years
Estuarine results
D Tingalpa Estuary  
  • Elevated nutrients and low dissolved oxygen levels in middle and upper reaches
  • Elevated phytoplakton abundance in middle reaches
  • Extensive intact natural riparian habitat throughout most of the estuary
D Eprapah Estuary  
  • Estuary strongly influenced by elevated nutrients and phytoplakton abundance in upper reaches adjacent to the WWTP discharge
  • Extensive intact riparian habitat throughout the estuary
